 Nathan John Feuerstein (born March 30, 1991) is known as his initials NF (stylized as IF) is an American rapper, singer as well as songwriter, record producer and songwriter. Two EPs have been released: I'm Free (2012) [3] as well as self-titled EP released by Capitol CMG in 2014. Mansion was his debut major label record, was released in March 2015. His second studio album, Therapy Session (April 22 in 2016) reached the top spot at 12 for the US Billboard 200. His albums have received numerous distinctions, including the Gospel Music Association Dove Award Rap/Hip Hop album of the year (Therapy Session). NF reached mainstream popularity with Perception in 2017. The album charted on the charts in the United States at number one and was certified Platinum. "Let You Fall" reached number twelve. Billboard Hot 100 reached number one in the United States and was also a top 10 world-wide hit. His follow-up, The Search (2019) was a commercial smash. Feuerstein stated that Rap was his escape from the world of his childhood. He would record songs using an karaoke machine and record instrumentals with one microphone, and his raps on the other. On November 29 of 2010, Feuerstein independently released his debut album Moments under his real name. He released "Alone" as his debut single on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith, songwriter and producer of the song, was featured. Xist Music was attracted to Feuerstein's work in 2012. The artist released his first extended work, I'm free on May 2, 2012. Profitt produced it. The album's tracklist contained nine tracks, including "Alone". The album featured an exclusive version with Sean Simmonds, the singer of "Alone". Xist released a teaser for the release of their self-titled extended piece, NF, but Feuerstein quit the label over a disagreement and the release of NF was put off. NF featured a track, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams on the label’s compilation album, Move Vol 1 On November 4, 2013, he released "Beautiful Addiction" as a single. Profitt was heard again on the track and also vocals by Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
