Brooke Christa Shields was born on May 31 on the 31st of May, 1965. As a model for children, she earned acclaim for her work when she played the lead role in Louis Malle’s film Pretty Baby (1978). She modelled into her teen years, and was widely praised for her part in the film of Louis Malle's Pretty Baby. Shields was cast in film roles of minor importance as well as a return to acting in the 1990s. She was also a star in the NBC sitcoms Suddenly Susan (1996-192000), where she earned two Golden Globe nominations and Lipstick Jungle (2008)-2009. Shields returned to NBC in 2017, reprising her role as a key recurring character in Law & Order: Special Victims Unified's 19th season. Since 2014, Shields has voiced Beverly Goodman in the Adult Swim animated series Mr. Pickles and its spinoff Momma Named Me Sheriff. Brooke Christa Shields was born in Manhattan, New York on May 31, 1965. She was the daughter of model and actress Teri Shields (nee Schmon; 1933-2012) and businessman Frank Shields (1941-2003). Based on William Addams Reitwiesner research, Shields had ancestral connections with various noble families from Italy. These are namely (in chronological order of descent from 1355 to 1965) the Gattilusi-Palaiologos-Savoy, Grimaldi, Imperiali, Carafa, Doria, Doria-Pamphili-Landi, Chigi-Albani, and Torlonia dynasties. Her paternal grandmother was Italian noblewoman Marina Torlonia di Civitella-Cesi who was the daughter of an Italian prince and an American socialite. Her great-uncle Alessandro Torlonia, an Italian nobleman was the husband of Infanta Beatriz who was born in Spain. Teri was paid a sum by Frank's family to terminate the pregnancy.
